For every Småverk video tool at video.smaverk.com: Captions, Vertical, Clip finder, Clips and Operator. Maindesk, our service for AI agents at smaverk.com, has terms of its own. Last updated 2026-10-27. By using a tool or sending a support payment you accept these terms.
Every tool is free to use in full, with no account and no key. Each tool's page states its own limits. In Captions and Vertical a clip can be up to five minutes. In Clip finder a recording can be up to four hours, and every export saves: the clip itself and the timeline files. In Clips a recording can be up to four hours and each clip up to 90 seconds (MP4, 9:16, as tall as the recording: 608×1080 from 1080p video). Nothing is saved with a mark. Operator films a group and gives you the video.
Using a tool is a licence to use it, not a share in it. It is not a promise that the tool will be offered, or stay the same, for any set length of time. If we stop offering a tool, we say so on its page at least 30 days before.
If a tool helped you, you can send a support payment, of an amount you choose. It is paid once; there is no subscription. It is a gift towards the tools: it buys nothing and unlocks nothing, because every tool already works in full without it, and it gives you no key, no account and no claim on future features.
Support payments go through Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, adds the right tax for your country, sends the receipt, and is the seller on your statement. Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment.
If you sent a support payment by mistake, or for the wrong amount, write to [email protected] from the email you paid with in the first 14 days after you paid, and the full amount is refunded through Polar. After them we do not refund, unless the law of your country gives you a right we cannot set aside.
The tools are provided as they are. Beyond what is written on this page, and as far as the law allows, we make no promise that they are free of faults, fit a particular purpose, give a particular result, or are available without breaks.
We may change, improve, limit or remove features, and stop offering a tool. If a change we make stops a tool from working for you, write to us and we will try to put it right within a reasonable time. We owe nothing more for a change, except what the law of your country requires. The 30 days' notice above applies to stopping a tool.
Your clips are yours. They stay on your device, and we get no rights in them. You may use what you make for your own work, paid or not. You are responsible for your clips: that you have the right to use what is in them, for what you make from them, and for where you post it. Do not use the tools to break the law or someone else's rights. Do not share, publish, resell or rent copies of the tools, offer them as a service, take them apart, or try to get around their limits. The tools, the name Småverk and these sites belong to us.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost income, lost views, lost clips or data, missed deadlines, or any indirect loss. The tools are free, so the most we can owe you in total is what you paid us in support payments in the 12 months before the claim. If you paid nothing, that is nothing. None of this limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for harm caused on purpose or by gross carelessness.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be set aside by agreement. Where such a right applies, it applies; everything else on this page still stands.
Swedish law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer in the EU you also keep the protection of your own country's law and may use the courts where you live. Write to us first: most things are solved by one email.
We may update this page; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in force on the day you paid apply to that payment. If part of these terms cannot be applied, the rest still stands.
